At the starting point of this trekking and rafting adventure, we take a long drive from Kathmandu to Biratnagar. We spend a night here and next day early in the morning, we take a drive to starting point of our adventure at basantapur. Or, you also have an option of taking a direct domestic flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar at additional cost which saves a day of time.
Today we have our early meal and get prepared for our adventure. Gradually, along with our team of porters carrying our rafting gears and equipments, we cross holy site of Gufaa Lake. Enjoying our walk through beautiful trekking trails, we setup a camp for night halt and on during the final day of trekking, we immerse ourselves in the beauty of Tamur valley alongside Tamur river.
Today we begin our rafting adventure and in the very start of our rafting journey, thrilling rapid splashes us, when we hold tight, take a deep breath and continue until we setup camp at river bank. We also get the best views of nature while rafting down the Tamur river. During our 6 days of rafting adventure, we cross nearly more than 100 kilometers of water trips with more than hundreds of rapids. And at the end of the day, we relax ourselves at tented camp at river side. These rafting days would surely be a lifetime of memories.
Today following the same routine, we paddle down the river and pull ourselves out at put our point of Chatara and drive to Biratnagar for either drive or flight back to Kathmandu.
