The Short Annapurna Base Camp trek offers majestic views of the snow- capped mountains and beautiful green fields. The Short Annapurna Trek offers the tourist the opportunity to experience indigenous region inhabited by people belonging to Gurung’s Magar and Thakali  tribes, giving a quality insight  into their lifestyle culture and work habits. The path leading towards Annapurna Base Camp is thrilling and refreshing as everything is beautifully lined up with rhododendron forests, oak and bamboos along the Modi Khola.Valley. Also a region known for river gorges of Kali Gandaki separating Annapurna from Dhaulagiri.

The Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins from Nayapul an hour’s distance from Pokhara. Once we reach Nayapool, the trail leads us as far as Ghorepani. Around here we get to experience a glorious morning sunrise greeting us with its spectacular golden ochre rays. This is indeed a thrilling encounter with the sun rising from 7000m is brilliant and breathtaking. After enjoying this wonderful moments provided us by the nature, the next day we head straight towards Tadapani. This thrilling journey is filled with various forests, landscapes and valleys such as Chhomrong, Dovan, Deurali, Annapurna Base Camp and Jhinu Danda. The Annapurna Base Camp region is also a home to numerous endangered animal species of Pika, Blue Sheep, Snow Leopards, Tigers and Himalayan Thar who inhabit these landscapes. Along with few species of birds consisting of, Impheyan, koklas and blood pheasants contributing beauty and variations to these regions.

Himalayan Girls has designed a trek into this dazzling natural amphitheatre of mountain scenery and peaks encircling the entire Annapurna region. This mini version of trekking is picture perfect as one gets to explore the snow capped glacial mountain tops of Annapurna South, Machhapuchre and so on, and is a time saving affair too. Itinerary Overview

Day 01: Take a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m, 7 hrs)

Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1940m, 6 hrs)

Day 03: Trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa (2360m, 5 hrs)

Day 04: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali (2230m, 6 hrs)

Day 05: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m, 5 hrs)

Day 06: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2340m, 6 hrs)

Day 07: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Hot Spring (1780m, 5 hrs)

Day 08: Trek from Jhinu Hot Spring to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara (820m, 7 hrs)
