Royal Trek

Royal Trek is a trek of indifferent and significant nature. A bit unconventional and of the shorter version follows the trail around the Annapurna foothills to the north of the Pokhara Valley. The Royal trek derived its significant title and is named after Prince Charles of the United Kingdom whilst on his visit with his 90 person convoy to Nepal in the early eighties. A meaningful trek providing ample opportunity to intermingle with local culture and inhabitants and sharing exciting cultural etiquettes is the prime feature of this Royal Trek.

This Royal Trekking journey begins from the wonderful lake city of Pokhara and extends further up to the beautiful Gurung hamlets. All along this wonderful trek, the stunning views of the adequately and carefully built hillside rice terraces, the magnificent Annapurna range, Machhapuchre and the Lamjung Mountains surprises the visitors and provides them with  eternal satisfaction. This majestic trip succumbs at the scenic mouthwatering Begnas Lake which is about 30 km west of the Pokhara city.

The Royal Trek is basically recommended for beginners who are restricted by time to trek longer. This entire trekking adventure revolves around getting a deep insight into the traditional lifestyles of the tribes whose ancient religious practices and traditions are still an integral part of their customary daily lives that has remained unchanged for centuries together. Compared to other trekking circuits in the Annapurna region, Royal trekking route is surprisingly less crowded allowing the visitors to get up closer to the nature culture and lifestyle.
