Himalayan Adventure Girls (P.) Ltd. is a government registered rafting and trekking company in Nepal as an outcome of passion for river and trekking adventure of four Nepali girls Anu Shrestha (Sherpa), Sita Thapa, Kamala Magar and Radha Tamang. We are the first ever all WRT certified female river guides/instructors in Nepal and are continuously striving towards organizing white water adventures along trekking in Nepal alongside creating career opportunities for passionate Nepali girls in this field.
As an organization we have been professionally active in this adventurous river trips along trekking in Nepal field since 2008 and now with all these years of experiences and training we are profound in what we do. We owe to Inca Gurung and Rosy in many ways as they have always been inspiring and supporting figure for us. We are actively involved in giving a professional level training to Nepali girls through our nonprofit NGO “Himalayan Adventure Nepali Girls” so that we can create opportunities for them and make them independent through their passion for adventurous rafting, kayaking and trekking. Annually we have been organizing couple of advanced training camps guided either by Nepali or foreign volunteers which enhances the overall skills and turns into great learning experience. We have also worked with International Canoe Federation and took part in several international adventurous sports competitions like World Canoe Slalom Championship, World Canoe Freestyle Championship and Canoe Slalom Training Camp held in Spain (2009), Switzerland (2009) and Thailand (2010) respectively.
We believe that we can bring the positive change in Nepali society by engaging more female trekking, rafting, kayaking guides, empower them and create an independent society. We look for your support in this. The best way to support us is to embark for trekking, rock climbing, river rafting trips and Kayak clinics with Himalayan Adventure Girls.
